The Ice Hotel is now located at the Station Ecotouristique Duchesnay in Sainte-Cathrine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier. This hotel is Quebec's version of the Ice Hotel in Sweden and is definitely one of the most unique experiences you will encounter. Everything from the outside to each room is made up of ice or snow, even the beds, lights, chairs and much more all made up of ice. Guests can choose from the five suites and keep warm with the hotel provided sleeping bags that are laid upon deer pelts in each indivdually designed room. For those who don't want to spend the night can make their way to the ice bar and choose from a variety of liquors. The Ice Hotel is usually open from January to April depending on conditions.
