Do you love fireworks lighting up the sky? If you do, make sure to attend the International Fireworks Competition. This event takes place at Montmorency Falls Park, located 10 minutes from downtown Québec City. Six countries compete for the winning prize. Spectators get to see spectacular fireworks displays, which are set to music.

At the later half of August, the 12-day Expo Québec event celebrates the end of summer and draws crowds of up to 350,000.
Québec Winter Carnival
The grandest of all the festivals, the Winter Carnival, is held from the end of January to early February. Despite the frigid temperatures during this time of year, thousands attend, ready to celebrate.
Québec City International Festival of Military Bands
Over 600 musicians with 15 or more Canadian and foreign participating bands are perform at the International Festival of Military Bands. This annual event is held the last full week in August
